Ok everyone, it's now been about 6 or 7 weeks since I quit using regular shampoo and switched to WEN and I feel like I can give it a full review. 😊
To be perfectly honest my opinion of this product has not changed in the slightest since I wrote my first impressions post - I still think it's amazing and my hair has never felt better. One thing I have definitely noticed though, is that I don't lose as much hair as I did before I started using WEN. I used to find a lot more hair in my shower drain than I do now which is definitely something I'm happy about. 😊
Other than not finding as much hair in my shower drain my first impression still stands - My hair feels softer and healthier. I still need to get my hair cut to get rid of some split ends, but that's inevitable no matter what hair products you use. Also, since I have curly hair (although it dries more wavy than curly) my hair is naturally drier than other hair textures - whcih means it needs more moisture to stay healthy, and I feel like WEN does that for my hair without weighing it down.
There is one downside to this product though, and that is the price. I started off buying this "basic VIP" package which cost me 299 sek (approx. €30), but I ran out of cleansing conditioner after only two weeks. So I ordered this "deluxe VIP" package shortly after, which cost me 895 sek (approx. €90) which is still a good deal but quite a lot of money to spend on hair products. Now I usually wash my hair about three times a week, I would honestly prefer to wash my hair less, but I have a sweaty scalp (when I sweat, my scalp sweats the most) so it's pretty much impossible to wash my hair any less than that. This means that I use a lot of cleansing conditioner, and I will most likely need to buy some more by the time I get my next paycheck.
All in all, I love WEN. I think it's an absolutely amazing product and I really love the minty smell of it. My hair just feels so fresh after I've used it. But I think I will look into other cleansing conditioners just because of the price. I've seen that Matrix Biolage has a cleansing conditioner for coarse hair, and I might look into that just because I feel like it might be cheaper.
